Attendees from across the surgical specialties gathered on 3 and 4 November 2019 to develop their leadership skills through sharing ideas on collaboration, advocacy, influence and strategic thinking at the annual AOA Emerging Leaders Forum.
Guest speakers for the two-day forum included Head of Glaucoma Unit at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital Assoc Prof Catherine Green AO, Calvary Health Care Deputy CEO Matthew Hanrahan and Founder and CEO of OzHarvest Ronni Kahn AO, in addition to many of AOA's own leaders, including AOA President Andrew Ellis, AOA Second Vice-President Annette Holian and AOA CEO Adrian Cosenza.
